A Message from the President

You are invited to worship and to enjoy the variety of events at Ocean City Tabernacle.  You will see both familiar names and those new to Ocean City.  You can count on a thoughtful, Biblical worship experience at every service or concert.  Come as you are in this vacation setting.

Choose a schedule that fits your needs.  The inspirational singing before each service will lift your spirits.  The speakers will challenge you to serve Christ more completely.  The music will touch your heart.

The expansion of the Tabernacle ministry, enabled by the addition to the building, opens possibilities for larger and more effective Sunday School as well as services for the growing number of small children--in the “Noah’s Ark” nursery facility.  The narthex is a wonderful gathering place, a pleasant overflow space when extra chairs are needed, as well as an area that meets small group needs. Thanks to all who have made sure the ministry of the Tabernacle continues “for our children’s children.”

The building is available for rental during the off-season.  Call 609.399.1915 for information.

The hard-working and generous Board of Trustees provide leadership to the Tabernacle, meeting regularly and establishing policies for all aspects of the association.

Along with Vacation Bible School for the younger children, several special activities are drawing hundreds for Christian concerts and other presentations.  As always, the Sunday School and childcare touch many children, and, in turn, appreciative parents.

I have the personal blessing of hearing every speaker and musician.  Each brings a unique approach and each tells the “old, old story” in an inimitable and memorable way.  I am grateful for those friends and for every person who attends and supports the Tabernacle ministry.  God bless you!
